Toy Story Retro Roundup is out now from Digital Eclipse and Atari, and it launched alongside a second release, Toy Story 3 Complete Edition. Both mark 30 years of Toy Story and are available today on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
What’s in Toy Story Retro Roundup
Digital Eclipse pitches this as a five-game collection, but the lineup actually covers six titles since Toy Story 2 got two different games in 1999. You get Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, the Game Boy Color Toy Story 2, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000), Toy Story Racer (2001), and A Bug’s Life (1998) as a bonus. Across console and handheld versions, that adds up to 11 playable versions.
The modern touches are the usual Digital Eclipse kit, and they make old platformers far less punishing. Rewind lets you scrub back after a missed jump, you can save anywhere, and Rex’s Cheat Codes unlock extras like unlimited lives, invincibility, or every level and character from the start. There is a practice mode with guided playthroughs, refreshed How to Play guides, and a choice between a sharper high-resolution look and the original PlayStation presentation.

The archive side is the part history fans will want. A virtual museum holds design documents and development photos, a music player collects the soundtrack from every game, and new interviews feature Pixar head of story Jason Katz, voice actor Jim Hanks, Disney and Pixar Games’ Luigi Priore, and TT Games founder Jon Burton.
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is a remaster of the 2010 movie tie-in, and it is a very different game from the retro set. Story Mode follows the film from Andy’s room to Sunnyside Daycare, letting you swap between Woody, Buzz, and Jessie, and a friend can join in local co-op.
The big draw is still Toy Box Mode, the open sandbox set in a Woody’s Roundup western town where you take on jobs, earn gold, and decorate the place your way. This version folds in content that used to be locked to the PlayStation 3 release, including Emperor Zurg as a playable character and four extra Theme Packs. Digital Eclipse also upgraded the visuals, with up to 4K and 60 frames per second on supported platforms.

Price and where to buy
Each game is sold separately. Toy Story Retro Roundup is $29.99 and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is $24.99 on digital storefronts. Atari also sells a combined physical edition with both games for Switch, Switch 2, and PS5 at $39.99 on atari.com.
PC: Neither game is on GOG.com right now, so Steam is the place for now. Grab Toy Story Retro Roundup on Steam for $29.99 and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition on Steam for $24.99.
PlayStation: Toy Story Retro Roundup is $29.99 on the PlayStation Store for PS5 and PS4.
Xbox: Toy Story Retro Roundup is on the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S.
Nintendo: Both games are on Switch and Switch 2 through the Nintendo eShop.

If you grew up renting these from the video store, Rewind and Rex’s cheats finally make Toy Story 2’s tougher levels a fair fight. And if you have kids now, Toy Story 3’s Toy Box Mode is still one of the friendliest sandboxes to hand over a second controller for.
