The Wolf Among Us Remastered key art with Bigby Wolf and Snow White in front of a neon city skyline

The ID@Xbox Showcase October 2026 broadcast had one game you can play tonight: Arctic Eggs launched on Xbox Series X|S during Tuesday’s show, while everything else stretched Xbox’s indie calendar deep into 2027. The Wolf Among Us Remastered, Mouthwashing, ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut and Shrek 2 Remastered all land within the next three weeks, and a handful of brand-new reveals got their first release windows. We set things up this morning in our how-to-watch guide, and Xbox Wire’s recap has the official list. Here’s what stood out.

Out now: Arctic Eggs

The surprise launch was Arctic Eggs, the odd little frying sim from The Water Museum and publisher CRITICAL REFLEX. You cook in a strange Antarctic city, and “ingredients” covers a lot more than eggs. It’s available today on Xbox Series X|S, and it’s been on PC through Steam since 2024.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered: Oct 29

Telltale used the show to debut a new story trailer for The Wolf Among Us Remastered, and it’s the first proper look at Bigby’s reworked wolf form. The remaster updates the visuals, animation and audio of the 2013 original, adds a Noir Mode and behind-the-scenes extras, and brings back deleted scenes as playable content. It launches digitally Oct 29 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and the same day on PS5 and on PC through Steam. Switch owners have a longer wait, which we covered in our Switch delay story.

Shrek 2 Remastered: Nov 10

Aspyr’s Shrek 2 Remastered is the throwback pick of the show. It’s the co-op brawler from the movie tie-in era, now with cleaned-up graphics, a Photo Mode and a Cheat Mode. It arrives Nov 10 on Xbox Series X|S, and pre-orders are open now on the Xbox Store. Pre-orders are 10% off for everyone through Nov 9, or up to 20% off for Game Pass members. PC players can find it on Steam with the same Nov 10 date.

Mouthwashing and the CRITICAL REFLEX lineup

CRITICAL REFLEX had a block of its own. Mouthwashing, Wrong Organ’s psychological horror game set aboard a stranded space freighter, comes to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox One on Oct 29. It became a word-of-mouth PC hit after its 2024 launch, and CRITICAL REFLEX says it has now sold more than 800,000 copies on Steam. It’s a heavy, unsettling story rather than a jump-scare party game, so treat it as a lights-off solo play, not a casual Halloween pick for the whole group. On PC it’s on Steam.

No, I’m Not a Human, the door-knocking paranoia game from Trioskaz, is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in 2027. Militsioner wasn’t part of the show, but the publisher’s Xbox Wire post confirms its immersive sim about escaping a town watched by a giant policeman, first announced for Xbox in August, is still due in 2027.

ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut: Nov 3

ZA/UM’s spy RPG comes to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on Nov 3. The Director’s Cut adds roughly 40,000 words of new story, a Backstage Mode and full English voice acting. That’s the same day it hits PS5 and Switch 2, which we covered in our Director’s Cut breakdown. On PC it’s already out on GOG and Steam.

New reveals

A Game About Digging a Hole Together is the multiplayer follow-up to the beach-digging hit. Same premise, but now you and your friends dig, sell what you find, upgrade your gear and chase the treasure at the bottom. It’s out Dec 4 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC.

Magenta Down comes from 2 Ton Studios, the team behind Unto The End. You’re stranded on a hostile exoplanet with your crew scattered, and you have to manage radiation, weather and scarce supplies while you look for them. In their Xbox Wire post, the developers say combat is about timing rather than precise aiming. It’s due in early 2027 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC.

Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game is a creepy roguelike deckbuilder with Matt Mercer voicing the host, coming in early 2027. Love is a Roguelite (LIAR) mixes turn-based tactics, deckbuilding and dating sim ideas, with 16 possible pairings, and it’s set for fall 2027.

Everything else from the show

Scramble Knights Online, a co-op MMO-lite action RPG from Funktronic Labs, launches Oct 26 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC. Paper Shredder, an incremental game about destroying a mountain of company paperwork, is due this winter. Croak, a hand-drawn frog platformer with speedrun leaderboards, is dated for March 2027, and Rustown, Plotrick’s stealth adventure with no combat, has the most precise date of the 2027 batch: June 30.

Chronoscript: The Endless End, Drill Keeper, Graytail, Mr. Records, Red Kiss, VANRAN and Waveling Island round out the list, with dates and platforms in the table below. Mouthwashing, Scramble Knights Online, Croak, A Game About Digging a Hole Together, Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game and Red Kiss are also in Game Pass at launch.
