On March 27th the highly anticipated Byron Review will be published. It is a study by the government of the United States on the effects of violent imagery and content in interactive media on children. Dr. Tanya Byron will be presenting the study to the media next Thursday.
The general consensus among the game industry is that it will legitimize the industry to government and traditional media who tend to blame video games for societies problems.
We’ll see I suppose! This might have a large effect on the industry when it is released!
