Is today Nintendo 64’s 12th birthday? Back in 2006 I posted that it was the N64’s 10th Birthday on Sept. 26th, yet Nintendo’s Official website states the release date for the console was September 29, 1996. But I guess the fact that it was launched in Japan in June ’96 kind of makes this birth date completely null! Either way, it’s time to unwind your tri-handled controllers and play some Banjo Kazooie or Ocarina of Time! 😀
