PlayStation Plus Game Catalog October 2026 is a stacked Extra and Premium drop, with Mafia: The Old Country, a Horizon Forbidden West re-release, and day-one Mycopunk leading a lineup that mostly unlocks October 20. PlayStation laid out the full list on the PlayStation Blog, plus Premium classics and a few HorrorFest extras for spooky season. It follows the October monthly games lineup from earlier this month.
Extra and Premium Game Catalog
Unless a title says otherwise, these Catalog games are playable from October 20 for Extra and Premium members.
Mafia: The Old Country (PS5), a natural next stop after the free Mafia III PS5 upgrade, drops you into early 1900s Sicily as Enzo Favara for a third-person mob story built around stiletto work, lupara shotguns, and period cars. Horizon Forbidden West returns as a PlayStation Plus re-release on PS5 and PS4, putting Aloy back in the Forbidden West against new machines and tribes. Mycopunk (PS5) is the day-one Catalog surprise: a hyper-customizable co-op looter shooter about robot exterminators cutting through a fungal catastrophe, with hundreds of upgrades and 4-player co-op, live worldwide on October 20.
Later in the month, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 lands on PS5 and PS4 on October 27 in the US, UK, and Japan, sending you deeper into the Playtime Co. factory after Chapter 1. Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition (PS5/PS4) and Monster Energy Supercross 25 (PS5) also join on October 27 in those regions.
The Midnight Walk (PS5, fully playable on PS VR2) is already live in the US and UK as of October 14 (Japan on October 15). It is a clay-crafted dark fantasy from the minds behind Lost in Random, Fe, and Ghost Giant.
Premium classics and HorrorFest
Premium members also get two classics on PS5 and PS4: Dino Crisis 2, with Regina and Dylan surviving a Cretaceous nightmare, and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition for sandbox and career park building.
HorrorFest adds a few member extras. The World War Z Vibrant Halloween Skin Pack arrives October 20 with five spooky weapons and cosmetics. Back 4 Blood’s Tunnels of Terror Expansion 1 is free to download for members from October 21 through November 4 (the base game is on Extra), with 95% off the later DLC packs and Annual Pass. Dead by Daylight also has a community challenge from October 20 to 26 aiming for 10 million matches; hit it and members unlock a PlayStation Plus Exclusive Pack with the Buccaneer Buds Charm.
If you have Extra or Premium, mark October 20 for the big Catalog unlock, grab The Midnight Walk now if you are in the US or UK, and save room for the October 27 wave.
