The Warhammer Survivors release date is finally set. Auroch Digital, the team behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, says its bullet-heaven roguelite launches November 10 on PS5, and the studio’s own page lists the same day for Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, PC (Steam and GOG), iOS, and Android.
What kind of game this is
If you’ve played Vampire Survivors, you already know the loop. You steer one hero, the weapons fire on their own, and the screen fills with enemies faster than seems fair. Level up, grab new gear and passives, evolve weapons into bigger versions, and try to last. That’s not a coincidence: Auroch is making this in partnership with Warhammer and poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors.
The twist is the setting. You pick between Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and each stage has its own enemy faction. There are more than 40 playable champions, and each one starts with a different weapon and stats, so swapping heroes actually changes how a run plays.
Two new champions
The PlayStation Blog post shows off two characters from opposite sides of the setting. Morvenn Vahl stomps around in a big armored warsuit with a heavy bolter that sprays a wide arc, and it can evolve to add a missile launcher on top. Lyssa Revenya is a thief who fires grappling hooks in from the edges of the screen to hit and drag enemies, and her evolved version calls in a ghostly spirit that bursts into a damaging fog.
Pre-orders and the demo
PS5 pre-orders are open now, and PlayStation Plus members get 10% off if they pre-order. On PC, the free Steam demo is already up, so you can try a few runs before you decide. On Xbox it’s a Play Anywhere title, so one purchase covers console and PC.
It’s rated E10+ for fantasy violence and mild blood, and the pixel art keeps things more chaotic than grim. If you need something to play on PS5 until then, the PlayStation Plus October games are already in the library.
Grab the demo now, and mark November 10 if it clicks.
