Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is Infinity Ward’s 2026 shooter, with a campaign set in a war on the Korean Peninsula, 20 multiplayer maps, and DMZ.
It is out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, with no PS4 or Xbox One version. Infinity Ward unlocked it on the evening of October 22 Pacific time, ahead of the official October 23 date. Beenox handles the PC version and Digital Legends the Switch 2 version. Standard costs $69.99 and the Vault Edition $99.99, and it is not coming to Game Pass until Holiday 2027.
DMZ is the extraction mode, set in Hajin. Split-screen works on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and multiplayer and DMZ need a constant connection. On PC, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are required, and every online mode stays locked without them.
