The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is Nintendo’s ground-up remake of the 1998 classic, out November 5, 2026 on Switch 2.

It is a remake, not a port. Characters have a crafted, clay-like look against detailed real-material worlds, cutscenes are fully voiced with expanded dialogue, and the soundtrack is rerecorded with a full orchestra. Link can finally jump on command, dash and roll, and look around with a free camera, and you can hum or play a learned song into the Switch 2 microphone to make his ocarina answer. A new Hall of Fallen Heroes lets you read up on beaten monsters and fight them again.

It costs $59.99 digital or $69.99 for the physical cart, and the first print run comes with textured foil cover art while supplies last. The download is about 27 GB.
